Eastern Africa: over 20 million people facing famine

Stop Hunger calls for lifesaving donations and supports World Food Programme

Over 20 million people are at risk of famine by summer in four countries” warned the World Food Programme (WFP). Chronic conflicts, massive population displacements, droughts and economic collapse have struck South Sudan, Yemen, Nigeria and Somalia.

Famine has already been declared in South Sudan.

In the face of this enormous and unprecedented food crisis, emergency food aid funds are needed to enable WFP to mobilize extraordinary logistical resources to rapidly distribute the food.

WFP teams, in the field 24 hours a day, count on your support to reinforce their emergency assistance and help thousands of families and children survive.

Thank you for your generosity.
