As of July 2008, Sodexo started offering its healthcare clients Medical Device Management services which has helped hospitals manage preventive and corrective maintenance of all medical equipment as well as create an inventory and track the location of all medical equipment within the hospital.

In addition, Sodexo has provided training on safe usage of medical equipment and basic training on how to operate certain standard equipment. Currently, Medical Device Management services are active in Samitivej Sukumvit Hospital, Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital and Queen Sirikit Medical Center, Ramathibodi Hospital etc.

Global Lithotripsy Services (GLS)

Global Lithotripsy Services (GLS) was founded in 1995 as a medical equipment service provider operating in Thailand and the Philippines. It is the first Lithotripter service provider in Thailand. Sodexo Thailand has acquired the company in January 2012.

Today, GLS operates in 100 locations with 70 employees providing over 40 Lithotripters in Thailand both as fixed installations and mobile units. The mobile units operate primarily as services provider billing the hospital on a per procedure basis. However, GLS is also engaged in equipment and consumables sales.
