Supporting local quality egg production – Tanzania (PDF, 530 Kb)
Further to a high demand for quality eggs for most of its clients’ sites, Sodexo initiated in 2012 a project to support local egg producers to ensure the availability of quality eggs. The project involves training and technical support to the local producers who are now producing greater quantities of quality eggs.

Since 2006, Sodexo has been operating the “Symmetry” Health and Wellbeing Program. Sodexo helps his clients to improve their local communities’ relationships through fundraising activities.

During Fiscal 2009, Sodexo defined a proactive new sustainability strategic roadmap named “The Better Tomorrow Plan”, a progressive journey based on continuous improvement, covering its 80 countries and 33,900 sites and engaging its 380,000 employees.
Triple Certification - Marseille Central Kitchen (PDF, 586 Kb)
At Marseille in France, Sodexo’s strong commitment for the environment has led to major recognitions. In 2011, the Central Kitchen for the Education segment (50,000 meals prepared every day) has received triple certification: ISO 9001, 14001 and 22000.
Wellness Charters - India (PDF, 567 Kb)
As part of its ongoing endeavour to promote health & wellness, Sodexo has developed a charter of activities for all sites to provide clear and visible commitment to its stakeholders. Today, the implementation of the Charters has been made in 7 sites for both clients and consumers, and is planned at 60 sites.
