Sustainability & Energy Manager

I have the exciting role of leading the energy and sustainability team which includes developing a Carbon Reduction Plan for our client and preparing the transition to a net zero greenhouse gas emission estate. I also lead on other sustainability and environmental priorities including our client’s Environmental Management System.  

Prior to joining Sodexo in 2021 I worked in varied public sector roles, gaining experience across the environmental sustainability and mechanical and electrical fields, working predominantly on energy efficiency, low carbon retrofit and waste management. 

In my role I have a fantastic opportunity to combine my passion for environmental sustainability with my knowledge in science and engineering.  The fast-paced environment means that I have been able to use and develop my skillset, and it’s really enjoyable. 

Outside of work I enjoy: 

• Herding my dog and toddler on country walks 
• Recovering from these walks! 
• Reading, watching, and listening anything to do with rugby
