Supply Chain Inclusion Program

We will promote the economic development of diverse and inclusive businesses through our Supply Chain Inclusion Program in all the countries where we operate by 2020.

Supply Chain Inclusion Program

Why Does Sodexo Engage?

Small and medium sized enterprises are key engines for growth and job creation. They account for 60-70 percent of GDP and 70-90 percent of total employment*. Increased support for SMEs means greater support for local communities and access to innovative products and services for businesses and their clients.

How Does Sodexo Engage?

Sodexo’s Commitment to Action to invest $1 billion in 5,000 small to medium size businesses is projected to support more than 250,000 jobs over the next three years.

The Supply Chain Inclusion Program leverages best practices from Sodexo operations around the world (including Australia, Canada, India, Peru, the UK and the U.S.) to develop strong and sustainable relationships with suppliers in one or more of the following categories:

  • Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s) including social and micro-enterprises;

  • Suppliers from women-owned, minority-owned and other under-represented and/or protected groups;

  • Major Sodexo suppliers demonstrating a diverse workforce composition, actively embracing diversity and inclusion and promoting local supply chain inclusion.
