Our approach
Reducing our Environmental Impact
Sodexo is the first food services company to align its objective to limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. Our goal of a 34% reduction in carbon emissions by 2025 (from 2017, our reference year) has been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative. In collaboration with our stakeholders, we are taking concrete action to meet this target.
Responsible Sourcing
To reduce our environmental impact as much as possible, we make responsible procurement a priority. Our ingredients are selected according to strict quality and sustainability requirements, and we strive to create an inclusive and local supply chain by working with suppliers who share our commitments.
Sustainable Production
Controlled production chains and responsible management of natural resources are some of the ways we prevent any loss of value. For us, resource management begins with deploying innovative technological solutions and alternative methods, such as using eco-friendly packaging and redistributing food that would be otherwise discarded.
Sustainable Eating
Our eating habits not only affect our health, but also have an effect on biodiversity and natural resources, while contributing to global warming. Through the expertise of our employees and strong collaboration with our suppliers, at Sodexo we have the opportunity to make a positive impact on how food is sourced, served and consumed, providing more sustainable options to our guests every day.
Benefits and Rewards Services – A trusted and responsible partner
Sodexo Benefits and Rewards Services has committed to doing business in a responsible, sustainable and ethical manner, improving the quality of life of all our stakeholders. This commitment is central to our identity and values. We are guided by three pillars: individuals, communities and the environment.
