In 2021, to bring its partners together and mobilize its donors, STOP HUNGER is reinventing itself thanks to a new approach: an amazing 100% virtual event, with on-set debates and exclusive stories shot in Madagascar, Jordan, Haiti and Bolivia to meet inspiring women, committed to their communities.

Stop Hunger supports Ruramiso, WIA54 award winner in 2020. Native to Zimbabwe, this 35-year-old young woman is the example of a new generation of entrepreneurs who aim to modernize traditional family farming: making it productive and profitable – improving local income, and increasing its local and international business opportunities, to feed an ever-growing population.

Around the world, the pandemic is exacerbating food insecurity. While world health is at stake, hunger embeds itself, impacting one in eight human beings.

We have invested over the last four years US $ 5 million in programs to empower women who take action against hunger in their local communities, helping those most in need. Today, 32 effective and measurable initiatives are supported in 21 countries, in collaboration with Stop Hunger volunteers from the local teams of Sodexo, our founding partner.

A real challenge awaits us. The 2030 objective set by the UN to eliminate world hunger approaches.
