Stop Hunger and Sodexo continue to mobilise in order to support the dire humanitarian situation in Ukraine. The latest figures from the United Nations indicate that 12 million people are in need of emergency assistance. This figure includes 7.1 million internally displaced people and 4.9 million people who have crossed borders into neighbouring countries.

Through our partnership with the UN World Food Programme (WFP), we have launched an appeal for donations via the Share the Meal app's personalised platform. 
A target has been set to reach 100,000 meals donated by 30 April 2022.  The amount raised will then be matched by Sodexo.

How are the funds used?

The funds are being used for food assistance and to meet the humanitarian needs of people in Ukraine and refugees in neighbouring countries who have fled the conflict. Assistance includes food distributions, multi-purpose micro-donations and food vouchers for use in local shops.
