Sodexo is regularly awarded prizes and international recognition for its initiatives in a variety of areas ranging from services to human resources and environmental protection.We take great pride in the awards and achievements we earn as a result of our mission, values and dedicated workforce.

Among the recent awards received by Sodexo:

January 2019: Sodexo has once again won “Gold Class” recognition for our sustainability performance in the RobecoSAM Sustainability Yearbook Award 2019. This is the twelfth consecutive year Sodexo SA has received the Gold Class distinction for its excellent sustainability performance. Sodexo is one of the top-scoring companies in our industry.

January 2019: Flexible professional development programs that offer young employees mentorship, career planning, and wide-ranging opportunities earn Sodexo recognition as a top employer for young people.

December 2018: Sodexo named one of Hamilton-Niagara's Top Employers for 2019.

November 2018: Sodexo Canada earns the title of Corporation of the Year 2018 thanks of its commitment to diversity, inclusion and gender equality.

March 2018: For the fifth consecutive year, Sodexo Canada has been named one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers by Mediacorp. The company believes that Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) is a market differentiator and this commitment is a fundamental component of its growth strategy.

February 2018: For the eleventh consecutive year, Sodexo was ranked as the top-scoring company in its sector for its excellent sustainability performance, scoring 78% compared to an industry average of 39%.

March 2017: Mediacorp examined Sodexo Canada’s employee network groups, community partnerships and various training and skill development programs for women, visible minorities, persons with disabilities, Aboriginal peoples and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered/transsexual (LGBT) peoples and discovered a forward-thinking culture that recognizes diversity as a business imperative.

Sodexo is actively working to advance the Diversity sourcing program. This accomplishment demonstrates a strong commitment to the inclusion of women-owned business to their supply chain.

September 2016: Tier 1 Champion of Supplier Diversity, Canadian Aboriginal & Minority Supplier council

Sodexo was honored to receive Tier 1 Champion of Supplier Diversity award. Sodexo has been progressively advancing their Supplier Diversity program by actively educating current vendors on Tier 1 and Tier 2 spends.

August 2014: Out on Bay Street has named Dean Johnson the recipient of the 2014 Deloitte Leaders to be Proud of – Advocate Award. Dean has been recognized for his significant contributions to LGBT workplace advocacy and is considered an exemplary leader and advocate for diverse and inclusive workplaces.

June 2014: Sodexo President and CEO Dean Johnson has been named a 2014 Catalyst Canada Honours Champions for his transformational leadership and commitment to advancing women in the organization, the industry and communities.

April 2014: Sodexo Canada continues to lead the industry in sustainability and corporate citizenship and celebrated Earth Day with the announcement that it has been recognized as one of Canada's Greenest Employers for the fourth consecutive year.

April 2014: Sodexo Canada's commitment to attracting and retaining highly skilled older employees has been recognized with a 2014 Employers Award for 50 Plus Canadians from the Workplace Institute.
