November 2016: Sodexo is the first ever winner of the Business of the Year award for the category for organisations with turnover over £100m and a substantial operation in the region but without a head office in Greater Manchester. Sodexo was recognised for making a significant contribution to the region through employment, development and investment.

November 2016: Sodexo has achieved Investors in People silver status across its entire UK and Ireland business.  Investors in People (IIP) provides a best practice people management standard, defining what it means to lead, manage and support people well for sustainable results. The IIP assessment measures organisations across nine areas. May 2016: Rugby Travel & Hospitality Limited, a joint venture between Sodexo and the Mike Burton Group , won the award for best Premium and VIP Ticketing for its work on Rugby World Cup 2015. Decided by global online ballot, the award considered price-value, included services and overall visitor experience – from discovery and purchase through to post-event handling.
