April 2019: Sodexo received a perfect score of 100 on the 2019 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s premier benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation.

December 2018: Sodexo was recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its food recovery achievements during the 2017 EPA Food Recovery Challenge. In honor of the company’s ongoing commitment toward food waste prevention, Sodexo was named as the EPA’s national Endorser of the Year.

December 2018: Sodexo was recognized by Peta2, the largest youth animal rights group in the world, with an A+ on Peta2’s 2018 Vegan Report Card. Sodexo at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa was also listed on Peta2’s “Dean’s List,” an elite group of institutions that have accrued enough Vegan Report Card points to rank among the highest tier of A-rated schools.

July 2018: Sodexo has been recognized as Purchased Services Supplier of the Year by Vizient, Inc., the largest member-driven healthcare performance improvement company in the country. Sodexo provides Vizient members with Food and Nutrition Management, Environmental Services, including Patient Transport and Service Response Center, along with Clinical Technology Management and Facilities Management. Vizient selected Sodexo for providing service excellence, enhanced value and increased savings to Vizient members, which include academic medical centers, pediatric facilities, community hospitals, integrated health delivery networks and non-acute healthcare providers.

July 2018: Sodexo was named as one of the “Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion” by the Disability Equality Index (DEI) — a joint initiative between the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) and the US Business Leadership Network (USBLN) to recognize organizations who promote diversity and disability inclusion in the workplace. Sodexo was a top scorer among 145 other businesses and received a score of 90 percent after being measured on key performance indicators in organizational culture, leadership, accessibility, employment, community engagement, support services and supplier diversity.

June 2018: Sodexo’s Lair Marketplace at Loyola Marymount University was recognized as the first ever university dining hall facility to receive over 400 GreenPoints™ on the Green Restaurant Association (GRA) certification scale. The Lair Marketplace was judged on performance in environmental categories including Disposables, Energy, Furnishing and Rebuilding, Food, Chemical and Pollution, Waste and Water. This rating certifies the Lair Marketplace as a 4-star Green Restaurant.

Nominated by New Mexico State University and the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, Sodexo was recognized for its outstanding customer service and support of educational programs within NACAS West Institutions.

May 2018: Sodexo has been recognized for 10 consecutive years by Working Mother as one of the 2018 Best Companies for Multicultural Women – an honor that recognizes U.S. companies that create and use best practices in hiring, retaining and promoting women of color.

May 2018: Sodexo announced it has been recognized for 10 consecutive years by DiversityInc and was named to six of its specialty lists, including: Top Companies for LGBT Employees; Top 11 Companies for Recruitment; Top 12 Companies for Executive Women; Top 13 Companies for Employee Resource Groups; Top 14 Companies for Mentoring; and Top 20 Companies for Diversity Councils.

March 2018: Sodexo-operated accounts, the Hollywood Bowl and Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry, were recognized as Catersource Achievement in Catering Excellence (ACE) Award Winners for showing achievement in the catering industry through culinary, business, community and professional development. The Hollywood Bowl received this award for superior catering during the Los Angeles Philharmonic Press Preview and Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry was awarded for event-planning excellence for the 35th Annual Black Creativity Gala and 37th Annual Columbian Ball. This is the second consecutive year that MSI won this award.

March 2018: Sodexo has been named to the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) 2018 Top Companies for Executive Women list for the fifth consecutive year. The list commends companies that champion women and empower them to make decisions that affect their company’s future and its bottom line.

February 2018: For the first time, Sodexo was named to Bloomberg’s 2018 Gender-Equality Index (GEI) for the company’s commitment to gender parity; the 2018 GEI features 104 companies from 24 countries and regions. This recognition supports Sodexo’s 2017 commitment to have 40 percent of senior leadership made up of women leaders by 2025. Already Sodexo has 32 percent of women in leadership positions.

January 2018: Sodexo ranked #41on FlexJobs’ Top 100 Companies to Watch for Remote Jobs in 2018 list. For the third consecutive year, Sodexo was recognized for the number of opportunities available on its job board last year that allowed telecommuting as an option, either full- or part-time.
January 2018: Sodexo reinforces its position as one of the most sustainable companies in the world by earning Gold Class distinction in RobecoSAM’s annual “Sustainability Yearbook 2018”. For the eleventh consecutive year, Sodexo was ranked as the top-scoring company in its sector for its excellent sustainability performance, scoring 78% compared to an industry average of 39%.
November 2017: Sodexo achieved a score of over 70 percent on the inaugural Diversity Best Practices (DBP) Inclusion Index. The Inclusion Index reports data and provides insight into how participating companies met and excelled in three areas: company culture, demographic transparency and best diversity and inclusion practices in recruitment, retention and advancement.
October 2017: The Daily Meal named eight Sodexo-operated dining programs to its list of Best Colleges for Food in 2017. Liberty University premiered on the list at number three and was praised for sourcing locally-grown produce and humanely-raised meat.
September 2017: Sodexo has been named the top-rated company in its sector on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for the 13th consecutive year, reinforcing the company’s leadership and commitment to corporate responsibility worldwide.
September 2017: Sodexo was recognized in the 2017 LATINA Style® 50 Report. For the past 20 years, the LATINA Style 50 Report recognizes companies whose mission of diversity and inclusion have been reflected in the way they recruit, promote, provide benefits, and create programs for the betterment of their employees. From more than 800 eligible organizations, Sodexo ranked 20th on a list of 50 award winners.
August 2017: Sodexo was named as a top-scorer in the 2017 Disability Equality Index® produced by the US Business Leadership Network® (USBLN®) and the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD). Sodexo, which received a 90 out of 100 percent, was among 110 companies who were evaluated on culture, leadership, community engagement and support services.
