Mobilizing newbuilds in shipyards

Sodexo teams located in Korean, Singapore and Chinese  ship-yards have mobilized over 65 newbuild drilling rigs and marine rigs in the past three years.  Besides catering, our services have included procurement of food, supplies and equipment, design of kitchen / living quarters, preparation of quarters and equipment installation.  In short, we provide clients the assurance their vessels are properly outfitted prior to the vessel’s departure for its theater of operations.

Services during transit to operational location 

Sodexo can provide offshore catering and accommodation services while the vessel is in transit, as well as logistical support for crew changes and supply of fresh food along the route. It is not uncommon for rig deliveries to cover thousands of miles and months at sea. Sodexo’s global footprint and expertise helps ensure a smooth journey along the way.

Assistance refurbishing offshore units

Client and employees have high expectations for offshore living comfort.  We can work with clients to renovate  their offshore platforms’ and vessels’ living quarters to improve comfort and enhance health and safety standards on board. We operate on newbuilds in shipyards, or older installations at sea, without disrupting operations. Our services include consultancy, design, project management and implementation as well as interior design services.
