Service Family Outside Our catering, retail and leisure facilities have been developed to combine high street style restaurants, cafés, bars, shops and leisure services, specifically tailored to meet the varied needs of Armed Forces personnel and their families.

We work closely with the Armed Forces to support our soldiers with any logistics and support in the army they may need, such as decompression and deployment services.

As part of our commitment to support the entire Defence community, Sodexo supports a wide range of service charities and military sports.

We help to provide welfare support to service personnel, service families and veterans through a wide variety of Service charities, including SSAFA (we support the Norton family 'home from homes' at both Headley Court and Selly Oak and fund the Sodexo/SSAFA homelessness welfare fund, as well as sponsoring SSAFA’s annual Big Brew Up fundraising event), The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Fund, the South Atlantic Medal Association, ABF The Soldiers' Charity, the Service Families Federations and regular sponsorship of the uk4u Christmas boxes that go to all Service personnel deployed on operations over Christmas, as well as a number of local charitable initiatives and events in Cyprus.

Every year there is a Sodexo gift in the uk4u boxes that go to all service personnel deployed on operations over christmas – over 10,000 gift boxes were sent to British troops in 2015.
