Employee Engagement is a key performance indicator for Sodexo. The more engaged our people are, better they are at satisfying the needs and expectations of our 100 million consumers worldwide.

In April 2018, Sodexo conducted its seventh international engagement survey with all employees of at least six months seniority, or 386,262 employees in 55 countries. The survey, conducted online, attracted a high participation rate of 62% (versus 57% in 2016). For the fifth consecutive time, the employee engagement rate increased. In 2018, it reaches 69% (1point increase compared to the last survey), well above the 64% benchmark rate (Source: Aon Hewitt).

Dow Jones Sustainability Index logo In 2018, for the 14th straight year, Sodexo was named industry leader in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) provide a global ranking of the companies most advanced in the area of  sustainable development. They are jointly compiled by the S&P Dow Jones Indices and RobecoSAM.)
