We help create equity in communities by:
- Feeding people: We believe no one should be hungry. We tackle food insecurity through our strong partnerships with nonprofits and employee volunteers.
- Empowering women: We understand that by supporting women with workforce training and employment opportunities we lift entire families.
- Ensuring a diverse workforce and inclusive culture: We strive for a workforce that reflects and enriches the communities we serve. We aim for 100 percent of our business segments to have gender-balanced management teams.
- Supporting small businesses and businesses with diverse ownership: Diverse is classified as African American, Asian-Indian American, Asian-Pacific American, People with Disabilities, Latino/a/x, LGBTQ+ (Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender/Queer+), Indigenous, Veteran-Owned, Veteran with Service Disabilities-Owned or Woman-Owned. We have committed 25 percent of our spend to small and medium-sized businesses.
